Why old kernels are never removed?

Why Proxmox does not do any workaround this kernel cleaning process? We had not touched this, yet it seems our disks are getting clogged and the upgrade process is prolonged only due to so many kernel checks and yeah, what a day.

So how does one, "safely" clean up OLD Kernels, and why they are not automatically removed as a periodic maintenance plan builtin proxmox.

Do you think is normal to add rules in APT and mark old kernels not to be removed, and then let sysadmins to screw their systems or worst to crash their machines due to low space.

This is not my first thread related to this, yet it seems no one looks into this, no one sees it as a problem only me?

Right, what now to do about this, what other people do? Anyone?

Everybody with a different point of view can define easily his own cron job or so in order to remove older kernels. Default is to keep these kernels and you are at the save side.
