Why is OVS not included in the installer ISO?

I love Open Vswitch on my standalone and clustered Proxmox installations. My only annoyance is that I have to install with Linux bridges, get the machine online, perform an apt update, and install open vswitch, then reconfigure. I'm curious why OVS is not included in the installer? It's a fairly small package, so doesn't seem too difficult. Is there a plan to include it in a future release?

Chances are your post will get buried before staff can reply it (it's late evening Europe time) again. I don't know the answer, but if you want it and it's installer request the faster way would be to file a Bugzilla feature request:

I don't use it, yet I miss also packages like multipath. I guess the default is there that most people can run it and we are not the most of people. ;)
