Why does the gui not support bridges with vlan like in the doku?

You can indicate the VLAN id in the bridged port using the format `InterfaceName.vlanID` as you can see in the next screenshot:

yes but this breaks communication if the cluster for example has a vlan and you configure a vm (for example a reverse proxy for the cluster ) with the same vlan id. then it is mandatory to use bridgeName{V}VlanId. This is also documented in the proxmox WIKI. We cannot use Vlan aware bridges (where it would be possible to use brideName.VlanName ) as there is a bug with packet re fragementation

In this case you can use the bridged port of the Proxmox in the virtual network interface that you attach to your virtual machine, this way you don't have to create any VLAN into the virtual machine.
