the smtp list does not influence the rule system at all, if you want to do that you have to modify the rulesystem
also, the domain you highlighted is from the 'from' header not the sender
it is whitelisting it on the smtp level, but after that there is still the rule system, where it gets moved into the quarantineMail Proxy - Whitelist - If I understand correctly, this is the SMTP level, there is no further anti-spam processing. Which is what I need. But it's not working for some reason. What do I need to configure?
no in email there is the 'sender' (in the smtp connection) and the 'from' header (inside the mail), they don't have to be the same. what gets displayed there in the quarantine is the 'from' header as that is most likely what you want to seeI don't understand. What do you mean? Did I choose the wrong condition for the domain ? But I don't see the "from" option.
There's a sender, there's a receiver. The sender is the domain I need to resolve.
again you have to adapt the rule system so that there is a rule with a whitelist ( there is one there in the default rule-system) that has an 'accept' actionPlease explain in detail how I can resolve some domains so that they are not processed by antispam.
e.g. when a sender misconfigured their spf policy and you need to whitelist their domainCan you explain where I might need this customization ?
no as explained in the linked docsThe purpose of the whitelist is to exclude all antivirus/antispam actions so that messages get through without any problems.
The SMTP Whitelist is responsible for disabling greylisting, as well as SPF and DNSBL checks. These are done during the SMTP dialogue.
, if you want to do that you have to modify the rulesystem
edit:again you have to adapt the rule system so that there is a rule with a whitelist ( there is one there in the default rule-system) that has an 'accept' action
if you want to whitlist the 'envelope sender' yes, if you want to whitelist every mail that has such an email in the 'from' header, no, then you haveIn the image above, have I done the conditions correctly so that the whitelisted emails are not processed and go straight to the mailbox ?
what is contained in the 'whitelist' WHO object?Did I do everything correctly and did I whitelist this domain?
all messages that are processed further than postscreen, even those in the spam quarantine, should be visible in the tracking centerbut Usoft messages are not displayed in the tracking center because they end up in spam
okay i am understand i need just put in what what object in my rule matches postman1476462@goeml.com - and they dont will drop in spam?AFAICS, the mail uses the envelope sender 'postman1476462@goeml.com' (this is what the WHO objects so FROM/TO in rules match)
but int the From header it uses the domain '@usoft.ru' (this is what the WHAT object in your rule matches)
