Where is log file that stores commands

Hi,

I'd like to manage the VMs through commandline, since the processes can be automated.

As what written in this thread https://forum.proxmox.com/threads/create-kvm-vm-using-qm-command.6029/

The commands are stored in a log file, but there is no information where it is located.

'man qm' also doesn't say anything about the log file.

Could anyone kindly let me know more information about this log file?

that entry is from 2011, we do not simply execute the cli commands any more, but we use our api

but you can do something similar, just open your browser developer tools, create the vm and see the request the browser makes, there you see all parameters which should also be accepted by qm

I'm trying to automate lxc creation to test out ansible and I found this guide to create lxc's (I couldn't make heads or tails how to parse the developer tools output)
