What is the best VM cache method with ZFS SSD L2ARC

https://pve.proxmox.com/wiki/Performance_Tweaks#Disk_Cache suggests the fastest cache method is writeback, but doesn't mention the underlying FS at all.

Given the hypervisor is installed with ZFS raidz1-0 with SSD L2ARC, does it makes sense with yet another caching level?

Hi,

With ZFS you should use "none" cache mode.
Because ZFS has it's own Cache and so you would copy from memory to memory.

L2ARC has also be considered if it is worth to use. Because it cost normal ARC memory space for the mapping.
