Hi,

What does Autostart do when set to YES for devices and Linux Bridges etc?

Thanks

Thanks
So is it recommended to have this set to YES for any devices/bridges that are in use?
Should I set this to YES for both the physical device and the bridge?

On PVE, VMs can only use Bridges, they cannot directly use physical (Passing through the NIC to VM is another story) or bond interfaces. We have to create a Bridge for that physical interface or bond interface first, then VMs can use that bridge to utilize the physical or the bond interface. (The bridge act like a virtual switch here)
If we have a physical interface, and we have a bridge which is bridged to that physical interface, that physical interface should not have Autostart checked, the bridge interface though should have Autostart checked.
