What are you using for a 3rd node in a situation that a client only can afford two "real" servers ? I need something cheap to offer.

I have read that some people are using Raspberry PI , is it working ok ? Just for the quorum.

Thank you for any advice.

I had use a Odroid-C2 as 3rd node, until last month(when I was able to add a new server). I use this only for quorum(corosync service).
For my case it was working very good.

Thanks this is really helpful!

Denny the NUC is much more expansive but also more powerful than the Odroid - any advantages there over going with the 55$ Odroid just for quorum , the model you sent in the link is like 299$.

Thank you again.

The Nuc is a fully functioning node member. I use that node to store backups and do testing. When I perform upgrades it goes first. If quorum is all you are after I would probably opt for the Odroid.

We have used Mitac Pluto 220 (now there is also a 230 model), is relatively cheap (around 200$ I guess, once you have added a SSD and some Ram) and intel based, so you directly bare metal install Proxmox into it.
