Welcome to the ProxMox Virtual Environment ... - Wrong IP-Address after change ?

Hi,

I changed the IP-Address of PVE-Server but still get the old IP-Adress in the Console Welcome Message (Welcome to the ProxMox Virtual Environment ...).

Is this a bug and how can I change this ?

how did you change it? tell all details.

proxmox > Netzwerk > vmbr0 - Bridge Ports: eth0 > OldIP > NewIP

The Wellcom Message still shows the OldIP.

post your /etc/network/interface

And also update /etc/hosts with the new IP

I changed the IP in /etc/host and after a reboot it shows me the right IP ...

Looks like this still needs fixed. Updating the IP address on the bridge should also update /etc/hosts.

The issue is still here after 12 years! No fix!
I also had to change the ip adress in /etc/hosts after its been changed on the bridge. (today)

it's by design.
/etc/hosts must be updated if ip is updated.
