Weird nfs bug

I've installed Proxmox ontop of Debian Jessie the other day, and run into a problem with nfs-mounting a folder onto the host system (not lxc). I wouldn't be able to 'ls' or 'cd' into a subdirectory of the root mount folder (the root itself was fine) as a user, was getting an error like:

ls: cannot open directory /mnt/server/subdirectory: Operation not permitted

The weird thing is though, once I did an ls on that subdirectory as root, I could also access it as user subsequently as well. For a time, anyway. I think it stopped working after an hour or so, not sure though.

I figured I might have screwed something up with my Jessie install, so I re-installed the whole thing with the Proxmox iso. Mounted the nfs share, and that worked. But then I did an 'apt upgrade'. And the same nfs issue appeared again. So I reckon there is some package that introduces a regression (below is the list of packages that were installed by the upgrade).

Anybody any idea which package could be responsible? I can mount this nfs share fine with all my other (Debian Jessie) machines.

Thanks!

Ok, figured it out. It was the kernel ( pve-kernel-4.4.13-2-pve ). Booting with the old one ( pve-kernel-4.4.6-1-pve ) works. Any idea what could have changed in regards to nfs?
