Hi everyone!

I've set up a Proxmox home environment with 2 VMs and 2 CTs.
Worked like a charm, I was really enjoying it.

Yesterday morning, all VMs and CTs were not reponding.
I tried to connect to the webui but it's not responding.
I tried to reach the PVE from SSH but it timed out.
I tried to reboot the server but it was still the same.

After a while I pluged a screen and a keyboard to the server to check if I could locally do anything
but when I get the login prompt, I can type the characters, but it's impossible to submit anything...
ENTER just go to the next line ; CTRL+C/CTRL+Z don't do anything... I'm never prompted for the password.

So I tried to check for other issues... I booted on a Debian Live CD ;
- smartctl does not show any error
- memtest is OK too
- pve filesystem is not full
- network configuration seems good too

Has anyone faced a similar issue?
Is there something I'm missing?

Thank you for your help!

This happened to me also, a few times (v7). The only fix was to pull the power plug...
After boot, everyting was fine again.

I've read thread where people tell that... I tried to reboot like 30 times, I changed the power cord too, still this weird behavior...

Can you do anything on a different tty? for example ctrl+alt+f1

Indeed ; I made a clean install on a new nvme drive and it's working again (on the same computer)
I hope this topic could help someone experiencing the same issues!
