web ui not loading

so i have my proxmox server and my main pc running on the same network switch both of which on cat6 ethernet .so when i go on my main pc I cant open up the webui for some reason it says it cannot be reached if i try to ping it in my cmd it says :
PING: transmit failed. General failure.
PING: transmit failed. General failure.
PING: transmit failed. General failure.
PING: transmit failed. General failure.

Ping statistics for 192.168.1.100:
Packets: Sent = 4, Received = 0, Lost = 4 (100% loss),

and i dont really know why as i have ethernet signal on both when i do ip a on the sever it comes back as vmbr0 up
please help proxmox gods
