Web interface timeout length

So I'm sure it is a security feature that the proxmox web interface will timeout your login after a period of inactivity (seems to be 30 minutes or so). When this happens you get sent back to the login page to enter your credentials again. Which can get annoying over the course of a day when you just want to check in periodically to see load levels or whatnot.
Is it possible to modify that timeout? I assume it is set via a cookie or sum such, is the timeout hardcoded or can it be edited via a config file? Could this be a possible addition to the system configuration web interface section at some point?
Thanks.
