I've just installed Proxmox VE 6.0-4 from scratch. Since installing, I've been having an issue where after approximately 5-10 minutes, I'm presented with the web GUI login prompt again. This is regardless of browser.

I have checked the other threads and nothing seems to fix it.

I have confirmed that the date/time is correct and is synchronising properly with the local NTP server.

I'm not seeing anything obvious in /var/log/pveproxy/access.log although I am constantly seeing the following errors every few seconds in the SYSLOG:

Aug 25 14:38:50 s4e-proxmox1 pmxcfs[2024]: [status] notice: RRDC update error /var/lib/rrdcached/db/pve2-storage/s4e-proxmox1/local: -1
Aug 25 14:38:50 s4e-proxmox1 pmxcfs[2024]: [status] notice: RRD update error /var/lib/rrdcached/db/pve2-storage/s4e-proxmox1/local-zfs: /var/lib/rrdcached/db/pve2-storage/s4e-proxmox1/local-zfs: illegal attempt to update using time 1566707930 when last update time is 1566728242 (minimum one second step)

Not sure if the two issues are related.

Hi,
this can happen if you came from the future (at least your system time ;) ). The trivial fix is to wait until the time catches up again. The also the login prompt should work as expected.

Thanks Chris,

I can confirm that this issue resolved itself simply by waiting as you suggested. I logged in today and so far so good.

Cheers!
