Hello, everyone.

I'm having an issue on one of my Promox 4.4 boxes when attempting to update where it claims that pve specific packages can't be authenticated. Anyone experienced this and have a pointer as to what the solution might be?

I've tried grabbing the key from download<dot>proxmox<dot>com/debian/ and replacing the one I had, to no avail.

It seems I'm unable to post my console output as it contains links to external sites and I'm a new user. Let me know where to post the output and I shall do so asap.

Code:
WARNING: The following packages cannot be authenticated!
  libqb0 libcorosync4-pve corosync-pve pve-cluster libuutil1linux libnvpair1linux libpve-access-control libpve-storage-perl libzpool2linux libzfs2linux lxcfs lxc-pve novnc-pve pve-firmware
  pve-ha-manager pve-kernel-4.4.35-1-pve spl vncterm zfsutils-linux zfs-initramfs pve-docs pve-libspice-server1 pve-qemu-kvm spiceterm zfsutils

In advance, thanks for your attention and assistance.

whats the output of
Code:
 cat /etc/apt/sources.list
and
Code:
 cat /etc/apt/sources.list.d/pve-enterprise.list

That's what I can't post. :|

Guess I can try to replace the dots with commas and colons with semicolons. Let's try.

Wehey. It worked. Hopefully it won't get a negative reaction from the mods. :)

I'm not here to cause any trouble! Just want to update my box. :3

first:
it seems you have no subscription key entered, so the enterprise repo will not work, either buy a subscription (preferred :) ) or use the no-subscription repository:
see https://pve.proxmox.com/wiki/Package_Repositories

second:
please always upgrade with
Code:
apt-get dist-upgrade
instead of
Code:
apt-get upgrade

also please post your pveversion -v

if you're missing the gpg key this can also be a reason for the not working authentication of the packages
Code:
wget http://download.proxmox.com/debian/proxmox-ve-release-4.x.gpg -O /etc/apt/trusted.gpg.d/proxmox-ve-release-4.x.gpg

Yep, correct you are, sir. I'll look into getting a subscription slapped on to the budget for this site. Thanks. :)
