Hi,

For some time I have seen this warning. It started appearing on a machine I've had a long time. Need I be concerned, should I do something about it?

You could add an EFI Disk in the VM Hardware settings, so that the UEFI used to boot the VM (OVMF) has a place to store the boot order. See also the Proxmox manual.
