Want to boot to safe mode of a Windows Server VM , but pressing F8 does not help

Dear All,
We are using Proxmox EE , the latest
We have few Windows 2019 server, we would like to boot to the safe mode , during boot stage we are pressing the F8 command and it is not allowiing us to go to the safe mode
Guidance request in sharing the url to the documentation on how to get F8 key active

Hi,

I tested on my Windows Server 19 VM by pressing F8 key during the boot. Can I ask you what console are you using for the VM? SPICE or noVNC?

F8 doesn't work without bcdedit /set {bootmgr} displaybootmenu yes before. As I know at least.
