W2K25 Trim not possible after upgrade from 9.2+pve1 to 11.0+pve2

I just used a WS2K25 template on a newly installed PVE installation and changed only machine version from 9.2+pve1 to 11.0+pve2 and after that, I'm not able to use the powershell trim command, which fails due to "not supported". If I change it back to 9.2, trim will work again. VM has the current virtio version 285. Anyone experienced this?

Found that on fresh Win2025 server install (+latest updates) retrim fails with strange errors:

C:> defrag c: /l /v

Invoking retrim on WIN20256-STD (C:)...

        Retrim:  skipped.

Data error (cyclic redundancy check). (0x80070017)

Event log shows two items:

The storage optimizer skipped slab consolidation on WIN20256-STD (C:) because: Slab size is too small. (0x8900002D)
The storage optimizer couldn't complete retrim on WIN20256-STD (C:) because: Data error (cyclic redundancy check). (0x80070017)

While Win10 and Win11 guest finish same command without error (I use this...

Thank you for bringing that to my attention and maybe I can add to that. My template is on the current patch level, so the problem may not be the same, but very similar.
