Hi
I couldn't find the appropriate place for a feature-request.

It would help _a_lot_ if vzdump would also write the VM-name into its logfile during backup, especially if you're handling hundreds of files and have to recover from a desaster, this would make life a lot easier.

In my case, some backup need to save only host name, some need full name including domain, some need hostname with additional note, etc.

The ability to Rename backup file has been requested since long time ago. Rather than save VM name, better offer File Rename feature.

I had backups from ESXI stored everytime in separate directories containing vm name and date. And inside this directory there was a config file as well as data files. In my point of view it would be also beneficial to include some button in gui to restore vm from backup completely instead of manualy creating new vm and then restoring its data.

You can already do that: select the backup in storage, and click "restore", it will prompt you for destination storage an VMID (it cannot restore to a used VMID, though: you have to delete that VM first if it already exists).
