[SOLVED] VPN Preventing NFS Mounts?

Up until about a week ago, I've been able to mount my internal 2TB SSD to my Mint VM over NFS without issue, with IVPN installed. I've not made any changes to exports or fstab, and I've assigned a DHCP reservation to the VM via Pfsense.

Only reason I think it might be my VPN, is after I've set everything up in a new VM (Pop OS) and rebooted a few times, the share still mounts, but once I install my VPN, I'm unable to mount the share. My Mint VMs with VmWare (separate PCs) are still able to mount the share, but they don't have a VPN installed. Figured it was a system update within Mint that fudged the mount, but even after restoring a backup from 2 months ago, still no success. Oddly enough, the nfs-common service became masked, and I didn't know what masking was until this occurred. nfs-common remained masked even after restoring from backups.

Using PVE 8.0.3, NFSv3. The SSD for NFS share is a separate drive from the host install, within the same machine, bind mounted in fstab.

Any idea what could be causing it to fail? Regardless of this issue, PVE has been fun to work with so far.

Update:
Copy/paste from Reddit:
Ping worked between hosts prior to installing IVPN. After installation, ping wouldn't work, but I did notice under settings in IVPN Firewall, there's LAN settings and Exceptions. I don't recall making any changes here before, but I just enabled the option 'Allow LAN traffic when IVPN firewall is enabled', and added the NFS share address + subnet, and am able to mount the share again! If I had those settings there before in Mint, idk why it wouldn't have mounted all of a sudden, other than the nfs-common service being masked. So strange.
