what do you mean by that? what did you expect and what did happen? The local scaling and autoresize window don't seems to be effective.
is this a vm or a container? if it's a vm, you would have to resize from inside the guest, but i don't know if thats possible for the console

Yes, it's a VM (pfSense)...I had hope moving the cursor to the edge of screen would allow a click and drag to resize to the entire width...I made several attempts inside the VM space...no luck. I am using Spice display...is this a vm or a container? if it's a vm, you would have to resize from inside the guest, but i don't know if thats possible for the console

Yes that worked however, the text on the screen just increased with the screen (the resolution) making the effect nil. It would be great to be able to set or adjust the resolution. It's purely aesthetic, though. Thank you.do you simply want to resize the window? that should work without issues when you disable the 'autoresize window' option...
Unfortunately, since the VM is a firewall, there is no way to change the resolution from the inside. The change you suggested appears not permanent...as soon as one leave the menu and select another, then returns to the console, resize is back to default. Like Proxmox, the firewall (pfSense) has a web-base interface also...so, it's purely aesthetics...we can live with it. Thank you.as i said, you have to change the resolution from inside the vm, there no real way to do it from outside
