Hi, I want to use Proxmox as a thin client server. I have VNC working properly, however, I want it to remember the password. I don't want to put in set_password vnc password every time a thin client user wants to reboot.
Are there any workarounds?

Any pve user can login on VNC (no need for workarounds)

Will that let me log in to VNC and deny people from connecting without a password?

Sure. Just remember that you need to login with <username>@<realm>, for example 'root@pam'.
Or if you create a user testuser on realm 'pve' use 'testuser@pve'.
