VNC console: essential keys not working (using a Mac)

Hi all,

In the VNC console, the delete and control keys are not being passed. This is making it impossible to do certain tasks such as using an editor. My workstations are all Macs and I'm pretty sure the problem is due to recent Java updates for OS X. This used to work, but broke a while back... it's becoming a real problem!

This is for PVE 1.8.

Any ideas for how to work around it?

Maybe the console on 2.X works better.

we have no mac in our test lab so we cannot do any tests on osx.
