Where and how can i get this onto proxmox to alter the hd of my vm to migrate ?

The instructions fail as as in the conversion seems to be raw and not auto detected with no options as suggested.

I am following those instructions, these say i am to use this if the vm fails boot.

Is vdiskmanger part of esxi or do i install it on the proxmox box

vdiskmanager is a third party tool, not Proxmox VE related.

i googled before coming here. Surely someone has been down this path before. Found neither a deb or an up to date link to source code.
