We are migrating our ISE 3.1 platform from vmware to proxmox and 2 pxgrid.2 psns are on vmware , From the docs we read it seems doing a clean install of the Cisco KVM isd the recommended one but we want to fast test the Poxmox native import facility we are on 9.1 , we came across docs suggesting we set kvm on newvm to smbios nics to virtio and others , is there any best practice step by step doc. so that we get the migration works perfectly before we engage to a clean install (Preferable we would like to have all optimim drivers for nic/bus/stroage etc and other system settings right and migrate license/certificates as well with minimu manual changes after migration

You can migratae /import into proxmox. But Id export the config/certs and setup new nodes anyway. they you can move to the recommended 3.4 release at the same time.
