Is it possible to migrate VMware clients that are on individual VMware host servers?
Our Vcenter server is no longer available, but the clients are up and running on VMware hosts that were in a cluster.
currently 5 hosts with many running windows clients.
Broadcom no support since support expired and cost is out of sight for 5 year commit.

Is there a solution?

I am concerned that you didn't know about the host client. Where is your sys admin?
Also, it's not much work to spin up a new vCenter instance, using the 60 day evaluation mode. Then you'll have full functionality while you transition, if you go that route.

I'd be pretty relieved that your VMs are still running—that's the important part. You don't actually need vCenter to migrate them. As long as you can log into each ESXi host through the Host Client, Proxmox can import the VMs directly. A temporary vCenter evaluation is nice if you want easier management during the transition, but it's definitely not required.
