I have a weird issue. Somehow my LVM got disconnected for a second. VMs that were originally on that LVM are still running. However, I can not do anything with them because I get an error - can't activate LV ..... failed to find logical volume ".....

The VMs are showing in CLI under the specific datastore. But in the GUI, it does not show them. In CLI, it shows the symbolic link from vm-XXX-disk-0 to dm-X.

Running qm list shows the VMs correctly. Running lvdisplay does not show any of them.

proxmox-ve: 7.4-1 (running kernel: 5.15.102-1-pve)

Hi,
please share the output of vgdisplay and lvdisplay as well as your storage config cat /etc/pve/storage.cfg. Further, please check the systemd journal for errors, especially around the time the LVM got disconnected, journalctl --since <DATETIME> --until <DATETIME> gives you a paginated view of the journal for the given timespan.
