Newbie here…

I am trying to setup proxmox on top of virtual box in my laptop. The network adapter is set to bridge mode for the proxmox VM and assigned a static IP during the installation. I can connect to the proxmox VM and got a VM created which received a DHCP IP from my network. The VM’s can communicate to the proxmox host and other VM’s, But I can’t PING or connect to the VM’s from external (Laptop itself which is the same network as the proxmox host & VM’s).

I am thinking it has to do with the bridge mode not supported on my WiFi Adapter (Intel WiFi 6 AX201), is that right?

If its the case, how can I setup the proxmox host network on virtual box so I can communicate to the proxmox & VM atleast from the same laptop if not from my other devices, and again would need internet access to the host and VM’s as well.

Looks like the WiFi Adapter doesnt support the bridge mode, added a USB ethernet to the laptop and now i can reach the vm network from the host OS and other devices in the network
