VMID Change on Cluster

I have a three node cluster with the vm100 stored on the disk image ID rd_drive Type RBD
on Proxmox 4.4

I looked at all three nodes trying to find the file directories in attempt to renumber the vm but could not find any.

All three nodes show no folders under /var/lib/vz/images and /var/lib/vz/private.

I need to change the current vm100 to vm101 so I can restore vm100 from a backup to the cluster.

the easy way is to restore the backup to vm 101:

qmrestore vm-backup-file 101

to see your rbd-files use:

rbd -p rbd ls

but I would be carefully with renaming… the official way is backup and restore (with onother VMID)
