Hi all

this is a question to the great proxmox staff...

I have a small cluster of six nodes running proxmox 1.1, a few days i was trying to install a new cluster with a diferent set of nodes,(this time with 1.5). but i failed in my task.

the problem is: due to my company staff, we have all kvm machines in vmdk format (for compatibility with vmware), and i guess that format is not recognised in proxmox 1.5. If i copy my disk to the folder of the kvm machine, they dont appear on the gui.

Is this point a new mandatory policy in the development of proxmox, or it can be revised and rebuilt (maybe this was a regression  )

I know vmdk format perfomance issues, but it gives us a lot of help when trying vmware appliances or when exchanging vms with others IT partners.

thanks to all and sorry for my english.

Ok lots of thanks.

Ill will be tunned :)

fixed. update to the latest version (new libpve-storage-perl) and restart the pvedaemon (/etc/init.d/pvedaemon restart).

vmdk works with proxmox-ve-2.6.24 and proxmox-ve-2.6.32 (not working with proxmox-ve-2.6.18).
