Hi All,

My PVE Node does not starting, when I was trying ifreload -a shows my error related to interface Error: vmbr0: bridge port enp0s31f6 does not exist., so checking my interfaces change bridge-ports enp0s31f6 to bridge-ports eno1, and recover the connection:

Bash:
nano /etc/network/interfaces

Code:
auto lo
iface lo inet loopback

auto enp0s31f6
iface enp0s31f6 inet manual

iface eno1 inet manual

auto vmbr0
iface vmbr0 inet static
        address 192.168.1.18/24
        gateway 192.168.1.1
        bridge-ports eno1
        bridge-stp off
        bridge-fd 0

iface wlp1s0 inet manual

auto vmbr1
iface vmbr1 inet manual
        bridge-ports none
        bridge-stp off
        bridge-fd 0

Now I see two interfaces in GUI:

This was a good way to resolve the issue? What else need yo check before use "enp0s31f6" again in my interfaces vmbr0 config without lost connection? Thanks!

Well, your ip link does not show an interface enp0s31f6, so there does not seem to be an interface (anymore?). If it all works through eno1 now, then you should remove the two lines

Code:
auto enp0s31f6
iface enp0s31f6 inet manual

from your interfaces-file. Iirc the GUI just transcribes the contents of the interfaces-file.

Hi,
did you recently upgrade something or change your NIC?
