Good morning,
I don't know if I'm in the right forum with my problem, if not please move it.
I have had the problem for about 14 days with a customer who only has us support him sporadically that a VM with Windows 2019 Standard restarts every working day between 12:00 a.m. and 12:30 a.m. This only happens on weekday nights not on weekends.
The following morning, the employees cannot log on to the server, which is also a DC. Only a restart of Windows 2019 allows you to log on to the DC again.
Our assumption was that this was triggered by the UPS. Disconnected the UPS and connected the whole server directly to the mains. The behavior persisted, the Windows server restarts at night.
In the event log I find the following entry every working day morning after the server was restarted manually:
The system previously shut down unexpectedly on 7/11/2023 at 12:03:47 AM.
The event ID is then 6008
System constellation:
proxmox 6.3-2
VM with Windows 2019 standard (updates are made regularly)
virtio-win-driver 0.1.190
QUEMU Guest Agent 101.2.0
Has anyone of you ever had a similar problem and might have a solution for me?
