Yes, this is possible. Just add the Proxmox Backup Server as Proxmox VE storage, and you should see all backups.
Note that if you had setup client-encryption on the source node(s) you need to also upload the encryption key to the new node.

i also have a pbs sync job syncing an external (remote) pve host to this local pbs server in a different datastore "datastore2"
when adding this "datastore2" to my local cluster i don't see the backed up vms from the sync job why ?
