Hi, I want to restore a LXC backup, and I am getting this error:

Code:
vm 0 - unable to parse value of 'unnused' - unknown setting 'unnused'
TASK ERROR: unable to restore CT 480 - unable to detect disk size - please specify rootfs (size)

The backup configuration shows that the rootfs option is missing the filesize.

Code:
...
rootfs: tb2:subvol-181-disk
...
unnused: local-lvm:vm-181-disk-0,size=12G

How do I edit the backup config to specify the size and to remove the "unused" option? (weird typo for "unnused" btw, but the VM ran with it)

I also tried qmrestore from CLI, but according to the help page it doesn't have an option to set the size.

thanks in advance!

So, I checked the linked article. I had recreated the machine my manually extracting the backup archive and copying the needed files.

However, the article only shows how to change the size for existing lxc. In my case I would have needed to change the configuration for a backup that has no corresponding container (and I think it got removed automatically before the restore (from the backup on my NAS) was started and showed the error above).
