I got a PXE server for imaging windows clients on our network but I noticed something strange when attempting to image a VM with it. If I get a regular physical PC I can access the PXE Server shares with the credentials and image the computer but with the VM I only get to the credential screen and get stuck there. I can do F12 or Netboot from the boot order, get to choose the image I need and when I get the splash screen for the runtime environment all is good. Once I put the \\pxe-server-ip-addres\DeployMentShare$ it asks me for the credentials to it to which I enter them and it says the "network share cannot be accessed/invalid credentials". If I do the same exact thing on the physical computer I can get pass this screen and image my machine. Is there something different with VMs vs physical computers which I'm missing?
