When I installed Linux Mint 20 Cinnamon as a VM, it works overall, but I get a message that says...

"Running in software rendering mode Cinnamon is currently running without video hardware acceleration and, as a result, you may observe much higher than normal CPU usage. There could be a problem with your drivers or some other issue."

Does anyone know how to fix this? I've seen various solutions on the internet, but none relevant to a Proxmox VM.

Thanks,
Eric

Do you passthed through a GPU to the VM? Otherwise it won't got a GPU and can't therefore use video hardware acceleration.
