We have a Windows 2003 VM on which we were running a 3 hour long process. Leaving the console for awhile and then coming back to the console showed that the process basically paused or slept...Coming back on the console made it start running again.
In the Event Viewer I see 'viostor' warnings during that 'pause' period. The warnings say this:
"The description for Event ID ( 129 ) in Source ( viostor ) cannot be found. The local computer may not have the necessary registry information or message DLL files to display messages from a remote computer. You may be able to use the /AUXSOURCE=flag to retrieve this description; see Help and Support for details. The following information is part of the event: \Device\RaidPort1."
Does anyone have experience with this? Are the virtual disks going to sleep? Is there a way to make them not do that?
Thanks.
