Vm Openvz memory allocation bogus ?

Good day, i have installed 2 openvz machines, one limited to 1GB of ram, second one is limited to 4072 MB of ram, both debian, the problem is that the second one is seeing all the memory of the host.

Details:

proxmox 1.8

First machine
Mem[||||||||||||||||| 232/1024MB]
uname -a
Linux tracking 2.6.32-4-pve #1 SMP Mon May 9 12:59:57 CEST 2011 i686 GNU/Linux

Second machine:
Mem[| 37/7968MB]
2.6.32-4-pve #1 SMP Mon May 9 12:59:57 CEST 2011 i686 GNU/Linux


Also the both have acces to 8 cpu's, is it normal ?

Can someone explain me the reason and how to fix it ?

You need to use kernel 2.6.18 to have all OpenVZ features.

What OpenVZ features are missing in kernel 2.6.32.x that are present in kernel 2.6.18. The latter isn't supported anymore is it?

currently, 2.6.18 is the only 'stable' OpenVZ version.
