Hi all !

I had a power failure and after that the vms will not start .
The vms show > running (io-error)
I know the problem - there is no space > local lvm shows > 100.00% (363.31 GB of 363.31 GB)
How did this happen ? It was working before and all the vms were running ?

And how to increase the size as I have 3 TB ?

You installed your PVE with a bad storage distribution (so you manually changed the default values to worse ones). You got 2 storages. One directory storage (root) of 2.4TB that can store backups, ISOs, LXC templates and your PVE system. And one LVM-Thin block storage (data) of 340 GB that can only be used for VM/LXC disks.

So you should do backups, read about LVM management and then shrink your root LV and extend your data LV so that you get a small (32-100GB or so) root LV and a big (remaining space) data LV.

Oops ! Actually I added more disks and then looks like I made a mess !. So "shrink the root LV and extend data LV "is what is needed without making a mess of the file system. Let me see how to do this .
