VM Memory usage odds

Good day everyone.
I am recording a big discrepancy of memory usage on my Ubuntu VM.

Here is what htop shows as usage:


While PVE console shows this:

What's wrong?

What's wrong?

Nothing. Any cached RAM in your VM will appear as "used" to Proxmox, but in the VM appears as available - as it is.

Search these forums - how many times this has been asked & answered.

You can see how much RAM is cached from the yellow bars in htop .
