CPU = 2 x Intel(R) Xeon(R) Bronze 3106 CPU @ 1.70GHz
RAM = 2 x 16G RDIMM
DISK = 2 x 1TB

Installed a win server 2019 essential virtual machine

We have 2 events(period about 2 weeks between first and last) when my Windows VM stopping itself

I don't see any stop/shutdown messages in syslog

From web just found my machine to be down and started it

Did anyone notice same behavior?
What can be the issue?

Can anyone please help?

Can this be related to my zfs soft RAID configuration ?

I mean maybe to avoid the zsf

Solved

Issue was related to windows server 2019 essential license

Server was everyday checking the licensing conformity:
- root domain check
- user count check
- FSMO role check
- forest trust check
- non-domain member check

My server didn't pass the non-domain member check and it was restarting it, as my server was member of another domain

Win Serv Essential mandatory must be a domain controller for the network or local WORKGROUP
