I have a vm running on kvm that works with no problems. This vm is displayed in the web gui as VM102 but all the info for it is missing (name, memory, storage, ethernet devices). It used to be fine, but we had a power failure and I think the UPS failed before a clean shutdown was finished.

Any idea how to solve this?

Problem is that the last good backup was overwritten by an empty backup file.

This is how I noticed the problem, in the daily backup email report it listed the size for VM102 at 0KB.

...arghh. Well, it should not too difficult to re-build one from scratch, you can create a new vm configured just like that, and then copy all the text from the conf file.
Just replace nics MAC address, disks paths, and so on..?

Maybe?

I have created the vm102 conf file again, using as template the conf file from another vm. I have rebooted the 102 VM and as far as I can tell all is back to normal.

Thanks for all the help!
