VM crash during backup

If memory serves since this is large backup 3TB+ and takes alot of time 14h+
vm was running, backup kicked off, noticed vm down next morning. restarted, while backup continued. noticed backup failed a little while later.
restarted backup.

this run, vm off, and started backup.

The backup task log you posted shows that the VM was already stopped at the start of the backup and does not show an error. Was the error in an earlier attempt? Please share the log for that and check your system log/journal around the time the issue happened for any additional information.
