Just a quick question: I'm using an old proxmox install (2.1). I have some troubles with the OS hard drive. Changing the hard driver is the opportunity to move to the latest proxmox 3.2.
Can I restore my backed up VM from proxmox 2.1 to proxmox 3.2 safely ?
Or is it necessary to follow a migration procedure ?

Thanks

Patrick

No reply :( so... just do it and test!
And it works out of the box with proxmox 3.3! Proxmox is magic!;)

Just, I wanted to make a new install on a free new disk (/dev/sdc), keeping the old one (/dev/sda) as a data disk (as some files are still readable) whilst I was waiting for my new disk. But the logical volume name requested by proxmox install is not dynamic and conflict with the logical volume of the previous disk. May be this could be improved...
