VM can ping host but not gateway

To install 5.11 kernel:
apt update
apt install pve-kernel-5.11
reboot

In regards to compiling a new set of drivers. Hopefully someone else can take this question on as I have been unsuccessful with my problem NIC in doing this.
Looks like I'm getting an error when I try the update: I don't have a subscription

Is there a different update/upgrade command for non-subscription users?

Do I need a subscription for this to work?

You are right. Intel I225 can't use bridges with kernel 5.4 and 5.11 should fix it.

apt update
apt install pve-kernel-5.11
reboot

I bought a subscription, executed the commands above and I can now ping from the VM to the gateway and access the VM through it's IP. Now I'm trying to the Minecraft server in MineOS to start. Thank you all for your help.
