VM and storage for vm on the same node

Hi,

Could someone please advise if I can have 5 nodes and use them all to run VM and storage for VM?
Is this possible?

My understanding was that I can run VM and storage for VM on all nodes and if one nodes goes down the other nodes will take over the load... so is like HA system?

Yes, it is possible with CEPH.
