vlc stream

hi,

i have a ubuntu16 vm and want to run there a vlc stream (take a http stream and send it via udp to all clients)... its working but the video quality at the client is extrem bad.

did i use the same vlc parameter on a bare metal ubuntu 16 machine its working with realy good video quality...

anyone a idea?

PS: when i start the vlc stream directly on the proxmox command line is also quit perfect video quality... so the "hardware" cant be to bad ^^

You probably need to turn off hardware offload or similar on your VM's NICs.
You don't give any deatils though so it's impossible to guess
