Hello,

My setup:

- 2 Dell PowerEdge M620 blades
- 1 With proxmox installed, 2nd with Win2019 (Hyper-V)
- On proxmox running pFsense & other vm's
- Blade with proxmox is connected with 1 NIC to WAN provider and 1 NIC private connected to other blade with Win2019 (e.g. just cable between de 2 NICS)
- NICs are QLogic BCM57810 10 Gigabit Ethernet (NDIS VBD Client)

My LAN brdige in proxmox is:

VLAN aware is on.

Within my proxmox ve everything is working fine with VLANs configured and VMs

I also want VLAN's on the Hyper-V side but that seems to be the problem, only VM's in Hyper-V without VLAN work, when i try to define a VLAN on a hyper-v VM their is no connection possible with the other blade (proxmox ve).

Any thoughts on this ?

This sounds like a hyper-V problem? - or do the hyper-V guests communicate via VLAN interface to the outside world?
else In those cases I would try to see where the traffic gets lost by sniffing packets with tcpdump (on the linux side at least) on various interfaces (physical interface, bridge interface, guest interface on the host, guest interface in the guest)

I hope this helps
