Hello Guys,
i have a networking question:
I have set up a Proxmox Home Server where I'm running a TrueNAS on a VM. The Proxmox server is in the default VLAN (1) network, as everything else except IoT devices.
What I have discovered is, that in the network settings that True NAS VM (vmbr0 /static IP) has not a default VLAN ID but I can access TrueNAS via web.
Because of a rsync error on TrueNAS - I can not reach an OMV on site B (no ping) - I've checkend the network config of the TrueNAS VM and saw that there is no VLAN ID. So I thought I will set the VLAN ID 1, since it should be default anyways. After changing, I can not reach TrueNAS via Web anymore and and still no ping to site B.
What sold I do to make TrueNAS to reach the siteB via Site Magic VPN ?
Setup
Site A
Ubiquiti Cloud Gateway Ultra
Ubiquiti USW Pro Max 16 PoE
VLANS: default ID1, IoT ID2, Guests ID3.
Site B
Ubiquiti Cloud Gateway Ultra
VLANS: default ID1
