Hi!

I'm new user.
So, I've made same Windows installation iso images with nLite, vLite, RT Se7en Lite and RT Server Customizer. I've copied that to the host via LAN, because some big (above 1 GB) .iso the Proxmox web GUI couldn't upload it.

The problem: I select the iso, what i would like to install, but the Proxmox don't mount it! (Not every, but some.) It haven't seen on the virtual machine's hardware page! So, I can't start the machine, because that don't find a bootable device.

Can you help me? Have you anybody idea?
How can i mount the iso by alternative way that the Proxmox system see it and can boot from?

Thank you!

(Sorry for bad English.)

Hi,
if you change the iso in the hardware-tab, you should also change the boot-order at the option-tab (only at the first boot is cdrom selected). After that power down the guest and start again - should work.

The problem isn't the boot order.
Some .iso don't attach to the virtual CD drive.

I used standard latin charachters, space, dot and negative sign in the names.
The files are in /mnt/sdb1/iso. I've made a new storage link for this, and the Proxmox GUI see all of them.

Yes, the problem was the spaces in the names.
I've changed it to underline (_) and i can mount it!

Thank you for everybody!
